The Siemens Simcenter Technology Conference of 2021 was held in chengdu recently. In the conference, Tianmu Lake Institute of Advanced Energy Storage Technologies (hereinafter referred to as “TIES”) won “Outstanding Application Star”.

In the “Fourteenth Five Year Plan”, China elevated the target and role of digital transformation to a new height. As a bridge connecting virtual and real world, simulation technology will play an important role in the digital transformation of enterprises and society.

This Simcenter Technology Conference, surrounding Simcenter - the digital twin brand of Siemens product, set up more than 80 keynote speeches, shared successful simulation cases of more than 30 well-known domestic enterprises, as well as conducted about 10 online sharing meetings from Siemens global industry experts about the latest application and development trend of simulation technology.

The new world of digital twins created by Simcenter Technology leads everyone to get a comprehensive understanding of the industry's most complete simulation and test tool portfolio advantages and application examples, and unlocks more valuable experience and expertise in enterprise digital transformation.

In 2019, TIES worked with Siemens Industry Software (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. to create “Advanced Battery Technology Innovation Center”. Since the establishment of the innovation center, TIES makes constant innovation and seeks for progress. Currently, it has the capacity and case of several technical services including project implementation of laboratory information management system (LIMS) in battery industry, project implementation of production line information management system (MES), battery product simulation (electrochemistry, mechanical, thermal and multi-physics coupling for cell, module, batter pack), manufacturing technique process simulation (fluid), and plant construction planning and simulation.

Based on TIES’s abundant accumulation of knowledge in the battery industry, robust digital tool of Siemens, both parties will conduct more in-depth cooperation in the future to boost the innovation center’s utilization of Simcenter™ tool portfolio, and help customers to conduct optimal design of related battery parameters, improve performance of manufacturing process equipment and provide faster and more reliable delivery solution.
